Step into a totally radical experience where the spirit of the 80s meets the sophistication of jazz as award-winning jazz vocalist, Kristine Mills, takes centre stage at The Pheasantry in London’s chic Chelsea PizzaExpress Live venue on 19th March to present 'Echos of the 80’s Jazz Edition'. Prepare to be transported as Mills, with her velvety voice, reimagines iconic songs from musical legends such as Sting, Duran Duran, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Cindy Lauper, and others where these innovative arrangements are carefully crafted and delivered with a jazz-infused twist by the talented Janette Mason. These 80s alternative gems reemerge with nostalgia and elegance. 

Prolific American jazz vocalist, Kristine Mills has had the honor of gracing stages throughout the US and UK.  Mills is known for being a constant and persistent voice in the jazz scene. With her last album, "Looking Back. Moving Forward." a key moment in her three-decades-long career, she received critical acclaim and media support back in the States. She premiered the single “Hold Fast” with Houston CityBook, then celebrated the premiere with sold-out shows in Houston and Austin, Texas, along with a London debut on January 20, 2022, with pianist Janette Mason and bassist Simon Little. Kristine and her trio are uniquely active both sides of the pond, having graced the stage at PizzaExpress Dean Street, and performed regularly at the exclusive e Berts at The Merchant Hotel Belfast amongst others.
