Dom Pipkin + Joe Mac

Blues in Britain magazine calls band leader and songwriter Dom Pipkin “one for the worlds greatest exponents of New Orleans piano”. Pipkin’s piano work has been recognised internationally and he makes regular appearances across Europe and America alongside some of the biggest names on the scene, sharing stages with the late Allen Toussaint and Dr John. He will joined by Uk based piano player, Joe Mac, who is one of London’s best kept secrets! Mac's influences are Steeped in the funky sounds from New Orleans, Gospel and soulful blues. Bringing new life into the classics from Dr John, Meters, Fats Domino, Johnny Guitar Watson, Ray Charles and songwriters such as Randy Newman, Paul Simon, Beatles, with these influences heavily Seeps into his songwriting! He has been a regular resident at Ronnie Scott’s London, Blues Kitchen, Ned, Night Jar.
